Maggie is constantly improving her technique in industrials and commercials.  She has a strong background, and is a reliable source for your next project.  Her interests are many, and her abilities expansive.  She can portray for your client a believable character, spokesperson, or narrator.  Her experience as an Optometrist has left her with vast knowledge in medical terminology and pronunciation.  This will give you the ability to show film to potential clients in the pharmaceutical and medical industry without fear of embarrassment.  She also works easily and very well with small children and with animals.  Take time to consider her for your next production!

 

 

FOR THE FEATURE / SHORT/ INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER:

Maggie is interested in a wide variety of film projects.  She would like to spend more time working on independent films during her off time.  If you have a dramatic, artistic, action/fantasy, or other interesting genre of film that you would like to consider her for, please use the contact page above.  Maggie is more than willing to negotiate low, deferred or no pay roles if the project is interesting enough.  Please note that Maggie prefers to read the script or have a detailed synopsis whenever possible.

Since I have such a passion for acting it is a source of enjoyment and fun for me.  I take this craft very seriously, and set out to give each filmmaker/director exactly the character they seek for the film.  I like to use character development with the director whenever possible, thru writings and exploratory conversation when time allows prior to filming.  I feel that this not only gives me insight as to what the writer and /or director see the character exist as, and allows me to adjust my thoughts accordingly and adapt to the role thru their eyes.  I appreciate an understanding of the film prior to auditioning if possible, as this allows me to develop the role and perform to a level that is better appreciated, though I am consistently able to do this on a cold read as well.  Additionally, I am more than willing to work within the constraints of an independent film budget, as I have steady income from alternate sources.  I only request that the filmmaker/director respect and work with me on time constraints when the budget is low/no/or deferred.
